DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL SCIENCE
Physical science could attract a diverse range of talented faculty. Our faculty has made significant contributions to novel interdisciplinary areas bridging physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The department has well-developed computing facilities and a well-equipped laboratory. Our faculty is dedicated to teaching with distinction. Because the Physical Sciences Department has a low student-to-faculty ratio, students and faculty get to know each other, and students have easy access to faculty for discussions, help, and advice on their current course work or future plans. Many of our graduates are now teaching chemistry and physics in schools and colleges.
The students are provided training in scientific method of problem solving, skills like manipulative, communicative, etc. The department has well-developed computing facilities and well-equipped laboratory. Teaching of science is not like teaching of other subjects where practical work is necessary. We have physical science laboratory where students can do experiment before going to the school.
